NHPCO has developed resource materials on the new COPs, for hospice providers by hospice providers. The NHPCO staff, Regulatory Committee and the National Council of Hospice and Palliative Professionals (NCHPP) have developed a set of resource materials for providers implementing the new Medicare Hospice Conditions of Participation. This CD contains: Regulatory text and preamble language (explanatory) for each condition, COPs by topic (with tips for implementation), COPs by discipline (with tips for implementation by that discipline), COPs by topic, including preamble text and interpretive guidelines, Analysis of Interpretive Guidelines, Crosswalk of old COPs to new COPs, Power point presentations on Subpart C and Subpart D, Implementation checklist, and Admission care map.
